Introduction

The first installment of The back to the bass series was the first LP release on DJ Vapour’s 36 Hertz recordings back in December 2010. Topping the Download and vinyl charts on its first week of release this was a huge release for the label and firmly stamped the 36 Hertz sound around the globe.

DJ Vapour has now completed the task of hunting down enough killer dubplates to finally release the long awaited follow up – Back to the bass Part 2!

Showcasing a collection of track from exclusive signings Dawn Raid, Jem One and Lutin, As well as enlisting some killer tracks from some old faces who have popped up previously on 36 Hertz – Bladerunner, Callide, Niskala and Soul intent, on top of that we have some heavy weight smashers from some new faces in the shape of Jaybee and Mr Explicit.

The project soon started to grow in size with so many tracks hitting the level for release on this LP that the choice was made to turn it into a double album released in 2 parts to ensure maximum exposure.

With a few very lucky DJ’s getting some advance dubplate action on a select few tracks from the LP the tunes have allready been getting some huge support in the clubs as well as allready being played on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 1Xtra.

36 Hertz recordings continues to show that it is more than a one style label with tracks on this project going through the whole spectrum of Jungle music from dancefloor to rollers all the way through to some vintage amen edits.
